Liquides Imaginaires – brand concepted by Philippe Di Méo presents Île Pourpre – the first chapter of its new trilogy: les Eaux Imaginaires. It is another promising start after the one of the best 2015 launches: hypersensual and animalic Peau de Bete which marked the beginning of Animal Beauty- Les Eaux de Peau line.
Île Pourpre has been composed by Nadège Le Garlantezec from Givaudan (perfumer responsible for Liquides Imaginaires Tellus Eau Arborante) and as in case of all Liquides Imaginaires scents, it highlights mystical and erotic qualities of the perfume, this time in form of fresh, yet sensual scent that conceals a fiery temperament with its mysterious heart.
On the purple isle, there is an unknown fruit, possibly even the fruit of the imagination. Its juice exudes a flavour that stimulates thought, a vision of the spirit conjured up through smell. A rare perfume, an encounter between the freshness of shiso and the disconcerting sensuality of black fig.
Far-away legends tell that on their travels, the Phoenicians and the Aegeans were attracted to an island outlined in purple. Among its lush vegetation, they found an unknown fruit, with a new and deep flavour. Its juice was so abundant that it coloured the rocks and provided sustenance for the shells. This mysterious purplish-red nectar was used to dye and perfume fabrics so rare they were reserved for the gods and for those in their likeness.
Top notes: Shiso, Angelica seed, Incense, Italian bergamot, Ginger
