Persefume exclusively presents another new interesting French niche brand: Les Eaux Primordiales founded by Arnaud Poulain.
All scents in the range come in pure perfume concentration and are composed in collaboration with talented (and super busy nowadays) Amelie Bourgeois , co-founder of fragrance studio Flair Paris.

Monsieur Arnaud Poulain , despite his young age (28 yrs) is not the beginner in the niche perfumery sector. He worked for Cinquième Sens and spent several years at Différentes LAtitudes – French producer/distributor.

Les Eaux Primordiales (The Primordial Waters) pays tribute to the traditional Great Perfumery. Its mission is to offer timesless, innovative fragrances that redefine contemporary classics with the use and reinvention of sometimes forgotten olfactory families. Fragrances are highly concentrated (20-25%), macerated for at least 45 days and the highest quality ingredients have been used.

Mr Poulain told us that the range has been inspired by his personal interests – from contemporary art, music, fashion, literature to popular culture. Those elements are truly visible in the brand image. The name comes from Jules Verne’s “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea” – journey to the primordial waters where the life begins, EP monogram evokes truly ancient times, the bottle was influenced by work Bernd and Hilla Becher – couple of German photographers while typography – by iconic minimalistic Howard Kettler’s font.
Packaging is made from two massive blocks with special embossing technique used in the sixteenth centrury by book binders.

I did not want to launch a brand just for a launch itself. These are perfumes inspired by my personal emotions and I am very demanding of the quality. I do pay attention to every detail – from scents to labels and bottles. Being “alternative” is nowadays not enough to proclaim the difference. I decided to use exceptional ingredients, higher concentration and longer maturation time to achieve optimial result as in the times of Great French Perfumery. It was complex vision and I am proud of it.
