Back in May, we have reviewed first three compositions by Frassaï – fragrance and jewelry house born in Buenos Aires and New York and founded by designer Natalia Outeda. Recently, the brand has introduced two new scents – our today’s Persefume ‘s “He says, she says” by Jakub and Aleksandra is dedicated to those interesting launches.

The new creations are:

A FUEGO LENTO – sultry floral composed by Rodrigo Flores-Roux (Givaudan)

A cabaña nestled in the shadow of the Andes Mountains glows beneath a cascade of mysterious stars. Inside, a fire burns as two souls surrender themselves to the night. Orange flower and black currant entice the senses, while a pulse of nocturnal jasmine intoxicates and envelopes, culminating in a sensuous bed of balsam and suede. A Fuego Lento imparts an addictive, heady, sweet and sultry trail…

Notes: Blackcurrant buds, Orange Flower, Jasmine Sambac, Civet, Suede, Flouve Odorante, Tolu Balsam

He – So bold, heady floral addictive as drugs. White flowers and perfectly combined with slightly animalic elements. It lasts literally full day (or night, if you prefer). Bravo to both founder and nose for the another masterpiece.

She – a decisive floral with a slight animalic undertone and something bitter in the background. I suspected tuberose in notes and found its absence there very surprising. Still, it’s full of lush, moist, fleshy jasmine. That is how I imagine the scent of some hot, sensual, tropic nights.

TEISENDDU – woody gourmand composed by Roxanne Kirkpatrick (Givaudan)

May 1865. 153 Welsh emigrants set sail on an old converted tea clipper, the Mimosa, bound for the rugged wilds of Patagonia. With dreams of establishing a new settlement, they arrived in Porth Madryn after a voyage of 7,000 miles. Generations later, their journey still bears an indelible imprint on the region that became their new home. Inspired by the Welsh settlers’ torta negra (black cake), TEISENDDU is a fragrant celebration of Welsh tradition fused with the arid landscape of Patagonia. Warm spices, bitter orange and juniper greet the senses like a cozy Welsh tearoom. A delicious heart of dried fruit and nuts is macerated in rum and enveloped by honeyed mimosa, while an intriguing blend of leather and dark sugar crystals completes the recipe, lingering like warm memories shared over a cup of black tea. An unforgettable new scent

Notes: Bitter Orange, Rum, Juniper, Nutmeg, Mimosa, Dark Sugar Crystals, Leather

He – Milky gourmand with caramel and woods. On paper it perphaps does not sound too special, but in reality it truly is. Very comforting, elegant perfume, first very intense, than whispering on the skin for hours. Roxanne Kirkpatrick is debuting Givaudan perfumer, but Teisenddu shows her enourmous talent – perfect sign for the future.

She – a very soft spoken and delicately sweet woody perfume. A hint of luxurious suede does not change the fact, that it evokes the memories of Desnuda and L by Lolita Lempicka, so it’s mostly about sugar – brown, natural and delicious, with a slight buzz added by rum. A must-drink.

Both scents are available as Eaux de Parfum 50ml (150 USD) from the brand’s website and authorized retailers.
